Web beta layout issues and chart-position issue after switching timeframes

Hi Forex Tester team,

I tested the beta environment and wanted to share my findings.

I tested it on a foldable Android device in unfolded mode. I also used a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, so the setup was closer to a small desktop-style environment.

I understand that mobile use may not be an officially recommended environment. I have also previously received feedback that a wired network connection is recommended for stable chart display.

After testing both the web beta version and the downloaded beta version, I found that the issues seem to fall into two categories.

First, the display scaling/layout and performance issues seem to happen mainly in the web beta version.

In the web beta version, the screen ratio does not seem to fit properly on the unfolded foldable display. The top or bottom part of the interface gets cut off. When I scroll on the right side of the FTO screen, the visible area shifts between the upper and lower parts, so I cannot see the full interface properly.

I also tried changing the mobile browser to desktop site mode, but the layout/scaling issue did not improve.

I also tried changing the browser zoom level from 100% to lower values, such as 50%, but the top or bottom part of the interface still remained cut off.

So it does not seem to be solved simply by switching to desktop site mode or changing the browser zoom level.

The web beta version also sometimes feels very slow or freezes. I did not notice the same freezing or heavy performance issues in the downloaded beta version.

Second, I found a chart-position issue that also happens in the downloaded beta version.

For comparison, I also use the current production version in a similar environment. In the production version, I have not experienced the chart starting from a completely empty area with no candlesticks displayed. When switching timeframes, the chart position may shift slightly, but it does not start from a completely empty area.

In the beta version, at first, when I return the chart to the latest candlestick area and switch between different timeframes, it works correctly. The chart stays around the latest candlesticks, and only the timeframe changes.

However, after switching timeframes several times, the chart sometimes suddenly starts from an empty area where no candlesticks are displayed.

Once this happens, the issue seems to persist. Even if I switch to other timeframes, the chart continues to start from the empty area instead of returning to the latest candlestick area.

It feels like the chart position becomes incorrect at some point and then that incorrect position is kept across timeframe changes. I have to manually move or scroll the chart to find the candlesticks again.

So, based on my testing:

  • Production version: no empty-area issue when opening charts or switching timeframes. The chart position may shift slightly, but it does not start from a completely empty area.

  • Web beta version: layout/scaling issues, freezing or slow performance, and the chart-position issue.

  • Downloaded beta version: no major layout/freezing issues, but the chart-position issue still occurs.

It may be helpful to check the timeframe-switching behavior in the beta version, and also to check the web version behavior on foldable devices.

I hope this feedback helps improve the beta version.
