Trendline does not keep horizontal.

When the trendline is to be horizontal, releasing the Shift key does not keep it horizontal.

    Hi! While holding down the Shift key, place the trend line horizontally. Then, press the left mouse button and only release the Shift key afterward. This should help. Thank you.
