Here's a suggestion: Could users be allowed to choose the time frame for the E-ratio's candlestick charts?
Hello, developer team. I have a small suggestion regarding the E-ratio calculation period.
I noticed in the official documentation that the candlestick timeframe used for calculations is automatically matched based on the “median holding period” and cannot be changed. However, I’ve run into a bit of a tricky situation:
I usually trade using 5-minute charts, and my median holding period is about 1 hour.As a result, the system automatically matched me with 1-minute (1m) candlesticks for the calculation. This means that for 5, 10, or 20 1-minute candlesticks, the calculation only accounts for price movements during the first 5 to 20 minutes after I open a position.
The advantages I gained from holding the position for the remaining half-hour were completely excluded from the calculation! No wonder my E-ratio values are all mediocre numbers like 1.2 or 1.4—this data is essentially useless for optimizing my 5-minute-level strategies.
I understand that automatic matching is meant to save time, but every user’s strategy timeframe is different . I strongly recommend adding a drop-down menu to the E-ratio panel that allows users to manually select the candlestick timeframe (1m, 5m, 15m, etc.) to be used for calculations.
The tool itself is very useful; I hope the team will consider adding this manual switching feature. Thank you!

Hi @Andy Johnson
Thank you for the suggestion and for explaining the use case so clearly.
I've already passed your feedback about letting users manually choose the E-ratio candle timeframe on to our developers. We really appreciate you taking the time to share it.
