When I am drawing an item and i have recently used a template if i am drawing the same item i want the same template to be used. At the moment we still have the style persistence, but not the timeframe

My guess is he means is if I use a trend line for a 1 hour time frame only and I want that trend line to be blue, then the next time I use a trend line I want it to show up blue for the 1 hour time frame only. You guys have it where it shows up on every time frame, so that forces us to go in and change it to a 1 hour template, even though, we are using it for the 1 hour template. I have mentioned this a long time ago. You make everything default except for the risk reward setups. I believe the risk reward setups should be default 1:1 and everything else should be what it was last used as. It gets annoying when I have to shrink the risk reward setups because it is either as I last used it or not as I last used it, but I have to still change it. I believe there were times when it was 7 or 10 when I never set the risk reward setup to 7 or 10. It is not always like that, but it happens enough to be annoying.

Regarding the trend line behavior, your point about having settings scoped to a specific timeframe (e.g., 1H only) is clear.
For the Risk/Reward tool, one possible workaround we can suggest is the following.
You can create two templates with identical visual styling (same colors, etc.), but different behavior:
Template A — with a fixed Risk/Reward ratio set to 1:1. Template B — without a fixed ratio (flexible).
The fixed ratio can be configured in: Settings → Style tab → “Locked risk reward ratio active”.
This setup allows you to:
Quickly apply a strict 1:1 ratio by selecting Template A Switch to a more flexible setup by selecting Template B when needed.
This approach should reduce the need for manual adjustments each time and give you more predictable control over the tool’s behavior.
Let us know if this setup works for your workflow.

But that locks it at 1:1 and I don’t trade with a 1:1 risk reward. Most of the time it is around 2R, but sometimes a little more or less. I just believe the default should be 1:1 like it is on Tradingview.

Thanks for the clarification. I understand your point about the default risk/reward ratio and have passed your feedback along to our developers.
As a temporary workaround, you could set up different templates for the tool. For example, you could have one template set to a 1:2 ratio and another with a flexible ratio, then switch between them as needed.

I may do that, but a lot of people are used to Tradingview and how they do certain things. Eventhough, you are not going to use Tradingview to design your program I still think it would not be a bad idea to use some of the settings. Another idea let us determine what the risk reward should be as a default, but allow us to change it. For example, if it starts as 2R, then allow us to make it 2.5R if we want. You could still have the default version where it stays at 2R. With that being said, I don’t think that is something that needs to be focused on right now since there are bugs that need to be worked out of the program as well as a lot of people wanting multiple time frames. I believe those 2 areas should be focused on the most.

Exactly. when i draw a new trend line the style is the same, but the timeframes are reset to show all timeframes. If i set to only 1hr i want to keep that until i change it
