persistant timeframes

When I draw a line and I want it only on the daily and then I draw another line I most likely also want it just on the same time frames I've just selected so can we have some sort of persistence

    Hi @Bradley Tong ,

If you don’t want tools to be synchronized across charts, simply disable the “Sync tools between charts” button.

Once it’s turned off, any lines or objects you draw will remain only on the chart where you created them, without being mirrored to other timeframes or windows.

Hi thank you for your reply.

I have been using this toggle and it doesn’t really do what i want.

Basically I have templates set up so i can have drawings on individual timeframes. when I use the template it will only show on the timeframe specified, but then if i was to then go and draw the same tool again it defaults to show all timeframes, the toggle you mentioned doesn’t seem to do anything for me. I don’t know if others find the same but i have used the toggle you mentioned and it doesnt’ work.

so I would want to be able to use my daily template then continue to draw with the same tool and it only show in daily. at the moment if i use the daily tempate the next time i use the same tool it defaults to show on all timeframes (even with this toggle turned off) So my requests is for the template I use to be persistant untill another template over takes it. or a more recent visual change

        Hi Bradley,

Sorry for the confusion earlier, now I understand your request correctly. You’d like the template settings (for example, showing a line only on the daily timeframe) to remain persistent so that any new objects you draw automatically inherit those same timeframe restrictions, until you explicitly change them or apply another template.

I’ve passed this request along to our development team for review and consideration.
