Offline Mode: Download single asset data (MNQ/MYM) and Import Trades when reconnecting
Hello Forex Tester Team,
I use Forex Tester Online for Prop Challenge practice. I have experienced internet outages twice recently, and I would like to know if there is an "Offline Mode" workflow available.
Specifically, I need to know:
Is it possible to download historical data for a single asset (I only trade MNQ and MYM) for the last year so I can practice without an internet connection?
If I trade while offline, can I later use the "Import Trades" feature (which I see in the interface) to synchronize my trades back to my online account once I reconnect to the internet? Does the system support this sync without errors or rule violations in my Prop Challenge?
How does the platform handle the prop firm rules (like daily loss limits) if I am offline and import the trades later?

Thank you for your help.

Hello @GC _44,
Thank you for reaching out!
Unfortunately, Forex Tester Online does not currently support an offline mode. An active internet connection is required to use the platform, and historical data cannot be downloaded for offline practice.
We do offer a desktop version of Forex Tester, which allows you to download historical data and practice offline. However, please note that the desktop version does not currently support MNQ, MYM, or other futures instruments available in FTO. It also does not include the Prop Challenge feature.
Therefore, offline trading followed by importing trades is not a supported workflow for maintaining your Prop Challenge progress or calculating its rules, such as daily loss limits.
We understand that internet outages can be frustrating, especially when you're practicing for a Prop Challenge, and we're sorry for the inconvenience.
