Moving bar ahead

I had 1 chart open to 4 hour and another chart I was trading open to 5 min. When I hit bar advance it moved both charts 4 hours ahead. Could we get it where it moves the chart according to the lower timeframe otherwise it defeats the purpose if it moves so far in the future on the lower time frame.
