How to know when H4, D1 candles close when backtesting on H1 time frame?

When I backtest with 2 time frames H1 and H4, I use the main indicator on H1 frame and cannot recognize when the H4 candle closes and a new H4 candle starts. Can you adjust or add a signal to recognize? Same with D1 candle.

    Hi @User,

    I completely understand your request — when backtesting on the H1 timeframe, it’s not always obvious when H4 or D1 candles close, especially if your strategy depends on those moments.


    At the moment, the only way to track H4 and D1 candle closes accurately is: Open three charts at once (H1, H4, and D1), check when the H4 and D1 candles close, and then you can close those charts and continue working on H1 only.

    We realize this isn’t the most convenient solution, and we’ve already passed this feedback to our developers as a feature request — ideally, to add visual signals or markers for higher timeframe closes directly on the lower timeframe chart.
