Forward doesn't move right

I didn’t know how to explain it properly, but if I use the bar forward, sometimes I get two candles, sometimes price action remains at the last candle, and closes it to give me a double candle.

So to make sense of what i mean i got my mad video skills out and created a video to show you what i mean😎

Maybe i am doing something wrong here, either way it is annoying to say the least.

    Dear @Dave Zegers,

    Thank you for the video and for explaining the issue.

    I couldn't see which timeframe you currently have selected on the chart, but this behavior can happen when your Bar Step setting does not match your chart timeframe.

    For example, if your chart is set to 1H but your Bar Step is set to 4H, each click will move the simulation by 4 hours. If your chart is set to a higher timeframe like 1D, you may need to click the forward button several times before a new daily candle appears because you are only moving forward by smaller time intervals.

    I would recommend going to the Bar Step settings and selecting "Sync with TF". This will make the Bar Step automatically match your current chart timeframe and should make the candle movement behave more as expected.

      That setting did the trick; the lagging is gone.
