Fix indicator settings to match TV (or allowed manual changing)

I just got FTO and instantly noticed that you use a different smoothing method: TradingView uses Wilder’s method (RMA) and I am guessing you are using an EMA smoothing method (like most older platforms) which causes major discrepancies in the values.

On the daily chart for example (ADX period 7), EURUSD, 30th Dec 2022, your value shows 77.9 while TV’s shows 65.9. This is a huge difference and completely ruins any threshold I might have to indicate different trend strengths… For this to work I would need to build a table with FTO’s ADX data and compare it to that of TV’s in order to change my threshold accordingly, which quite honestly is way too much work for something this simple.

Please, either A. change your indicators (ATR for example seems to use SMA smoothing instead of RMA) to match that of TV’s (specifically the settings). Or B. (the better, more effort-to-implement option), make it so that you are able to change the settings yourself (what type of smoothing they use, like you can with most TV indicators).

Even though I can understand the reasoning behind developing your own charting platform, as it probably saves you money as you do not have to pay TV for a license (except that you have to spend a lot of time developing the platform which costs money), in order for people to want to use this platform over another like for e.g. FXReplay, you will need to implement most (if-not-all) features that TradingView offers. I like your software more, I like the fact that you have prop-firm challenges, I think that is a huge feature advantage, however, until you fix some of these problems (like also with the Sunday daily candle, while it does not affect me it does affect others), or the fact that the platform is slow (again, I haven’t had that issue but from what I have read it seems to be a common problem), to me the platform is unusable as it does not represent “TradingView-like market behavior” which is what I use and probably 99.5% of other traders.

Obviously you could make the argument that I could change my settings in TV to match FTOs, however, that is not how it’s supposed to work. This software is supposed to complement my real trading which takes place using MT5 and TV; TV is not supposed to complement my backtesting on FTO…

Sorry for the incredibly long response, thanks for reading and I hope you fix this soon.
