For multi-timeframe backtesting (e.g. running 1H, 15M, and 1M windows on the same pair side by side), each timeframe needs a different zoom/visible range to show a usable number of candles β the 1H window naturally needs to be zoomed out further than the 1M window. Before this update, I could set each window's zoom independently, which is how most multi-timeframe traders work.
Now, since zoom is tied to Data Range sync, adjusting one window pushes the others out of their correct zoom level too, so I have to keep re-adjusting every window after every zoom change. That makes multi-timeframe backtesting a lot more tedious than it was.
Quick disclaimer β I looked around but couldn't find a setting to disable this myself, so apologies if I've just missed it somewhere. If there's already a way to turn it off or work around it, I'd love to know.
If not, request: please add a way to disable Data Range synchronization independently, similar to how Sync Crosshair got its own on/off toggle in this same release. Ideally either a global on/off for chart sync, or the ability to exclude specific windows from being synced.
Happy to give more detail if useful β this is a core part of my backtesting workflow (multi-timeframe analysis on the same pair).
