First and foremost, thank you for the incredible work you have put into Forex Tester. It is an indispensable tool for my trading practice, and I appreciate the effort to make it available as an online platform.
However, I am writing today to request a critical improvement regarding the Chart Layout and Display within the Online version.
The Problem:
Currently, the chart view in the web platform is too constrained. While the functionality is excellent, the layout settings make the active charts feel "boxed in." Because the charts are small and lack the flexible resizing options of the desktop version, it becomes physically cumbersome to test strategies properly.
Testing requires a clear view of price action over multiple timeframes simultaneously. With the current layout, I often have to squint to see support/resistance levels clearly, and the small scale distorts the visual flow of the market. This is not a user-interface preference; it is a hindrance to effective analysis.
The Request:
I would like to request that the Online platform incorporate the Flexible Chart Layout features found in the Desktop version.
Specifically, I am looking for the ability to:
"Undock" or Pop-Out Charts: Allow users to drag a chart out of the main browser window into a separate browser window or monitor. This would allow me to put a 1-minute chart on one monitor and a Daily chart on another.
Full-Screen Mode: A dedicated "Full Screen" mode for a single chart (similar to the F key function in the desktop app) that maximizes the chart to fill the entire browser window without the sidebar/toolbar taking up space.
Maximized Multi-Chart Layouts: If a user selects a 4-chart or 9-chart layout, the charts should automatically expand to fill the entire screen real estate.
Why this matters:
Trading is a visual discipline. When I test a strategy in the desktop application, the large, immersive charts allow me to "feel" the price action. The current online layout feels like I am looking through a keyhole. This update would make the Online platform a viable alternative to the desktop version for daily practice.
If possible, consider a "Floating Window" option, similar to how Trading View handles multiple charts, where I can open an additional chart in a new tab or window that stays synced with the main tester.
I understand that the web environment has limitations, but I believe this is a vital upgrade to ensure the online tool remains as powerful as its desktop counterpart.
Thank you for considering this request.
