What browser are you using? Please try opening the project in Google Chrome and let me know if the freezing still happens there.
Also, please go to the general settings and check what your mouse sensitivity to lines is set to.

I am using Firefox. It had some glitch — the screen froze twice yesterday. It's working perfectly now. I don't know what caused it. The mouse sensitivity is the same as in your screenshot.

Since Firefox froze a couple of times, could you please try using Chrome and compare the performance?
