Built-in Code Editor for Custom Indicators

Hello FTO Team,

First of all, thank you for creating such a great backtesting platform. I use Forex Tester Online regularly and really appreciate the Custom Indicator feature.

I would like to submit a feature request regarding custom indicator development.

Currently, users need to install external tools such as Node.js, VS Code, TypeScript, and Webpack, then build JavaScript files locally before uploading them to FTO. While this works well for developers, it can be quite challenging for traders who have little or no programming experience.

It would be extremely helpful if FTO offered a built-in code editor similar to TradingView's Pine Editor.

For example:

• Create a new custom indicator directly inside FTO

• Paste or write TypeScript/JavaScript code

• Compile and test within the platform

• Display build errors and warnings

• Instantly apply the indicator to a chart

This would significantly reduce the learning curve and make custom indicator development more accessible to a wider range of traders.

Many traders have ideas for indicators but are discouraged by the setup process required before they can even begin testing their concepts.

I believe a built-in editor would greatly improve the user experience and encourage more users to create and share custom indicators within the FTO community.
