4H and Daily Candles: Open/Close

Hi guys, I’m really liking the simplicity of the interface and the ease of use.

My only issue regards the open/close times for daily and 4h candles. After doing some digging, it seems the widely recognised standard for a forex daily candle open/close is at 22:00 London/17:00 NY time (or 21:00 London/16:00 NY during Daylight Saving Time). Of course this means the first 4h candle of the day would be at this daily open time too.

I don’t know if this is a bug because there’s a “NY Close Winter Time (GMT+2)” option when creating a new project. I’ve tried selecting that option but it just puts my time zone ahead by 2 hours, without changing the daily candles’ open/close times.

I’m finding it really difficult to adjust my technical analysis from Tradingview which opens the next daily candle right at NY close.

      Amazing, that is so good to hear! Shall be eagerly waiting for the NY close setting to be fixed - having the last daily candle at NY close will resolve the issue of that Sunday candle on the daily chart for you guys too. Win-win!! :D

    In short, the 4h and daily candles are 2h ahead of what they are on Tradingview and many other platforms. These candlestick pattern differences are potentially harmful to the accuracy of the data being collected by users. Please could there be an option to change this? By changing the daily hours to 2h before when market opens in Sydney/Asia, this would also fix the “Sunday candle” issue I’ve seen reported on here. :)
